This week marks the release of R.E.M.'s fifteenth studio album! Collapse Into Now
hit the shelves on March 8th. I've been preparing a Best of R.E.M. list over the last few months to share with you this week. It was tough to narrow it down to 15, so there are 20 picks.
If you'd like to listen to the songs featured in this list, scroll down to the bottom for a Spotify playlist. As always, please share your own picks in the comments section.
After you finish checking out this list, head on over to the R.E.M. Album Ranking feature!

There are some really good songs in this list, though i am surprised that Driver 8 came first. You are the everything and Talk about the passion are probably my most favs from this list. Personally i think Circus Envy, Country Feedback, Aftermath, Try not to breathe, Let me in, and E-bow the letter are some of their really good ones. In fact Country Feedback is one of my favourite songs out of everything.
ReplyDeleteI can really see why you had trouble making your list!
Great picks Bret! One you should add to the list is "The Great Beyond" from the Man On The Moon soundtrack, such an awesome song!!
ReplyDeletePeter! Thanks for stopping by. It's been a while since I've listened to 'The Great Beyond.' I will have to give it a spin this week. Cheers! Bret
