Mixtape: Christmas 2011

I remember finding an 8-track cassette of The Chipmunks Christmas Album in a discount bin at Walgreens near my house in Stone Park, IL, when I was a kid. I listened to that tape on my sister's 8-track player until it wouldn't play anymore. To this day, I continue to buy Christmas LPs throughout the year, and this is the time where I pull them all out and give them a spin. My tastes are so all-over-the-road that I thought a mixtape would be fun to share with you guys. The list below is pretty eclectic, containing some of my favorite Christmas songs: Judy Garland's 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas' from Meet Me In St. Louis (also one of the saddest songs I've ever heard) - and some more recent discoveries - The Killers 'Boots' - and even my own Christmas song - 'Let The Reindeer Live On My Roof.'
